Market Event — The objective of this project is to collaboratively procure non-emergency patient transport services for the five NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups in Mid and South Essex which are NHS Basildon and Brentwood, NHS Castle Point and Rochford, Mid Essex, NHS Southend and NHS Thurrock. NHS West Essex CCG may be a part of the procurement at a later date. The market event will be held on 3.7.2019 from 9:45 a.m. at Audley Mills 57 Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, Essex, SS6 7JF. Please note that there is a limit of 2 attendees from each organisation. The estimated contract value is between 7 000 000 GBP to 8 000 000 GBP per annum. The expected outcomes of the project are as follows: — delivery of a high quality, patient focused service that is cost effective and innovative. Provide safe patient transport within suitable and well maintained vehicles, — delivery of a responsive call centre that will facilitate an assessment of patient need/eligibility and booking where appropriate, — patients are cared for by appropriately trained personnel, supervised by competent persons and supported by appropriate software. NHS West Essex CCG may be part of this procurement at a later stage.
