Multi Lot Refurbishment Works (Redecorating, replacement windows & Doors) at EA Lock Houses

Tender description

The Authority (Environment Agency - EA) is looking for supplier(s) to cover a programme of refurbishment works (external redecoration, installation of replacement doors and windows) at EA's Lock Houses. EA have legal obligations as the landlord to maintain the properties in a good repair. No external decorations have been carried out for many years and EA are proposing to undertake a programme to carry out external decorations to 14 lock houses and replacement windows and doors to 11 properties. It is necessary to maintain the external fabric of the buildings to prevent the underlying structure becoming damaged. Proposed Start date: September 2019 with a duration of 2months. EA shall divide the specification into Lots covering the following work packages and as discreet works EA/Defra reserve the right to reduce number of packages depending on outcome of the procurement exercise. Therefore the allocated Lots are:- Lot1: Full Programme of Refurbishment Works at Lock Houses; Lot2: Discreet Work Package for Replacement Windows and Doors: AND Lot3: Discreet Work Package for External Decoration.
