Gowran Historic Landfill Remediation Project, Co Kilkenny

Tender description

The remediation of the Gowran Historic Landfill requires the following works: • General Site Clearance including removal of semi mature trees, cutting back of hedges and removal of dense overgrowth • Excavation and regrading of existing cap material to achieve formation levels • Installation of LLDPE Liner approx. 5000m2 • Placement of Drainage and gas migration Geocomposite • Excavation and construction of gas ventilation trench • Construction of surface water drainage trench • Processing of existing capping materials (screening) • Importation and placement of Subsoil and Topsoil capping material • Landscaping and Drainage • Tie in of site entrance to existing road -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Site Visit (Optional) Contractors are invited to visit the site on Thursday 14th March. Site visit will be allocated in 45 minutes time slots subject to appointment. Site visits will start at 10am and be allocated on a first come first serve basis
