Conservation and repair of the historic building fabric to Mackie's Corner, Sunderland

Tender description

The project comprises the restoration and repair of the historic building fabric to the Mackie's Corner element of Hutchinson's Building, Sunderland, comprising re-roofing, rainwater goods, window repairs and replacement, internal structural repairs and stone repairs. We are seeking suitably experienced Main Contractors who can manage and coordinate the works on behalf of the client. COMPANY PROFILE 3.0. OPERATIVES AND MANAGEMENT 4.0. COMPANY EXPERIENCE 5.0. PROPOSED SUB-CONTRACTORS & SUB-CONSULTANTS 6.0. HEALTH AND SAFETY Submit the completed Selection Questionnaire ( and any queries regarding completion of the Selection Questionnaire) to tenders@crosbygrangerarchitects.co.uk. On receipt of the completed Selection Questionnaire, Main Contractors will be assessed for their suitability and experience. If considered appropriate for the project and having the appropriate experience, the tender information will be issued to your company. There will be a four week tender period. The main contractor must be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and experience of working with historic buildings. Their subcontractors should have similar experience of historic buildings and a proven track record of working with the Main Contractor.
