Tender description

Aberdeen Heat and Power wishes to invite responses for a multi-lot framework to extend our district-heating network in Aberdeen City. Interested parties may bid for one or more lots, for the supply of labour and/or the supply of materials in the development of district heating in Aberdeen into new and existing building including: district heating mains, building connections, installation, and civil engineer contracts as follows: 1) To carry out excavation and re-reinstatement works in highways for district heating mains installation; 2) To install buried pre-insulated heating mains and pipe work and equipment, forming connections to buildings; 3) To supply Heat Network Pipe and associated fittings; 4) To supply materials and equipment for new hot water central heating systems to be installed into housing and other buildings; 5) To install a new hot water heating systems to housing and other buildings; 6) To supply electrical controls and wiring. The installation of district heating mains and building and plant-room connections. To manage and deliver the civil engineering works associated with district heating network mains installations. The supply only and delivery of pre-insulated district heating pipework and fittings. The supply only and delivery of heating system materials; heating pipes and fittings, pumps, valves, etc. To install district heating hot water heating systems into various domestic building types to provide space and water heating to said buildings. Installations will include, but not limited to, retro-fit to multi-storey blocks and low level housing and potentially new build developments. To produce and supply control panels and install cabling and controls associated with district heating networks and systems.
