The provision for a series of 7 technical training course topic areas, to facilitate the company's graduate and technical staff trainee programmes on a yearly basis. Deadline for response to the PIN in Jaggaer is 28.6.2019 at 10:00 a.m. Northern Powergrid (‘Company’) is considering options for the provision of a series of Technical training courses (‘Opportunity’). The Opportunity includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: The provision for a series of 7 technical training course topic areas, to facilitate the company's graduate and technical staff trainee programmes during 2019/2020. The training must cover national industry standards and policies and focus on how this is demonstrated within all DNO's within the UK. The training must also demonstrate the potential changes the industry will face in future years via in depth knowledge of the outputs and learning from key Innovation projects undertaken across the industry. The training providers must have previous practical experience of working within a UK DNO and be able to demonstrate evidence based training in addition to electrical theory with the facility to offer forensic and investigatory evidence to support the classroom elements of the training. The training must also support the company's trainees via accredited training which supports CPD towards obtaining chartered engineer status with the IET. In addition the training must also be able to support the requirements specified by the Institute for Apprentices to graduate as a Level 4 Electrical Power Networks Engineer.
