Tender description

The provision of food products and the logistics to First Rail Holdings divisions First Greater Western Ltd, TransPennine Express and Hull Trains. The requirement will be split into lots. Please see lot details for further information. Each division will have it's own unique requirements and may not need all lots. This lot is for the provision of food products which will be provided to customers on board trains. The ranges include sandwiches, snacks, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and fresh food for restaurant and sleeper services. The supplier will be expected to assist and provide ideas for the development of the ranges offered. This lot is for the provision of storage, management and delivery of food products. Storage facilities need to be in a food safe environment which are compliant with all UK and EU food safety regulation, and close to or at railways stations on the First Greater Western, TransPennine Express and Hull Trains hubs or have a logistics set up to meet these requirements. Further location details can be found on the portal. Deliveries are made direct to train on platforms at these locations. This lot is for the overall management and delivery of the catering service for certain routes within First Greater Western and TransPennine Express.
