Tender description
The Dial-a-Ride scheme provides community transport of people who find it difficult to use conventional bus services for reasons of age, physical disability or lack of access to transport. Huntingdonshire District Council (the Council) recognises the benefits and values of community transport, in particular for its enhancement of social inclusion, and believes it is worthy of support. The Council currently allocates funding of £24,000 towards the provision of community transport in the Huntingdonshire area, and this will be the maximum amount of funding available to bidders.
