Tender description

Fylde Borough Council's aim is to continue interning body's within the existing site and so require the perched water that accumulates throughout wet periods to be removed sustainably. The requirement is to remove the water by a series of parallel field drains that discharge to a detention basin, this detention basin is anticipated to be flooded in the wet months and reduce in size throughout the dryer months. It is not the intention of the Council to create a pond thus restricting the capacity for attenuation. The works are as detailed in associated drawing schedule TS-12016/01 & 06. Further works of a Civil Engineering nature will be in the form of a new carriageway, footpaths, permeable surfacing for car parking, Asphalt resurfacing and minor landscape works.
