The Business Improvement and Intelligence Team (BIIT) at Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council are looking to procure a customer insights segmentation tool/ data. The requirement to enhance the Council's access to and understanding of 'customer insight’ has been identified in the context of ‘Future Council'. Acknowledging financial pressures and increasing demand from some sectors of our communities, fundamental reviews are required to determine the design and delivery of future services in a response to these significant drivers. The promotion of self-reliance and co-production are important features within this approach. The Council needs a better understanding of the structure of existing services: who accesses them, what common characteristics they share, and how they might be impacted by change.
