Tender description

The works required within this DPS are for the construction of new build projects, alterations to existing buildings, extensions to school buildings and other properties, but not limited to, as required throughout the Borough of Darlington. Supply Labour and mortar for the brick and block work elements, including brickwork to the substructure and external walls as required. Also to include for cleaning the brickwork after completion of the works prior to handover. Supply and install external windows and doors. All works are to be undertaken in accordance with the specification and detailed in the drawings, allow for site measure prior to manufacture and all mastic sealing ETC. Supply Labour, plant and materials for the installation of the electrical distribution system and end user points, including the associated external works, fire detection and access control. Supply commissioning certificates and as built drawings on completion of the works. Supply all labour, plant and materials required to complete the floor screed element of work, including all handling of materials, (hoists, pumps etc.) associated with this element of the works. Supply all labour, plant and materials required to complete the supply and installation of the floor tiling and floor covering elements. To include for all associated works such as Latex screed, door trims as required ETC. Supply all labour, plant and materials required to complete the ground works, including the clearance of the site, construction of the foundations, drainage, hard landscaping ETC. Carry out landscaping works including the preparation of the top soil, seeding, turfing, supply and installation of plants & shrubs together with associated works. Supply all labour and materials required to complete the loft insulation. Supply Labour, pant and materials for the installation of the heating and plumbing distribution system and end user points. Supply all labour plant and materials required in the supply and installation of the metal fencing and gates. Supply and install all PCC floors and stairs as detailed in the drawings and specification, including all site handling, and lifting associated with the installation of the PCC floors and stairs. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the plastering & dry lining works. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the rendering works. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the pitched roofing works. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the flat roofing works. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the timber fencing works. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the supply and fitting of the ceramic tiles. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the supply, erection and alteration of the scaffolding. All works to be completed in accordance with TG20. Including the design of all elements of scaffolding which fall outside the remit of TG20. Also to include regular inspecting and scaffold tags as required and requested. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the supply and fitting of external canopies. Supply the security measures required to protection the property and materials on site. The level of security and means used to provide this may include any or a combination of the following, security cameras, periodic site visits or security guards on site during the night and weekends. Supply Labour, plant and materials required for the supply and installation of the suspended ceilings.
