Tender description

North Lincolnshire Council is seeking to establish Framework Agreements for the construction and Highways Framework — next generation. The framework aims to deliver efficiencies, improve value for money and provide added social value through the employment and training opportunities. It will include individual lots for general building and highways. Other key features include: Works range in value from 1 000 000 GBP to 10 000 000 GBP. 4-year duration (with possible 2-year extension) Potential total workload of 150 000 000 NOK including potential for other public bodies to access the framework call-offs will be under the NEC4 suite of contracts. Please see Section VI.3 Additional Information for information regarding which public bodies can access the framework. This lot is for general building works with a value of 100 001 GBP to 500 000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is 6. All aspects of general building works (including but not limited to mechanical and electrical works) are included under the framework. The workload may include: a wide range of building work, including work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing; various types of work including new build work, refurbishment, and renovation work, work in occupied buildings and projects with a significant element of mechanical and electrical work; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is for general building works with a value of £500,001 GBP to £3,500,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is six. All aspects of general building works (including but not limited to mechanical and electrical works) are included under the framework. The workload may include: a wide range of building work, including work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing; various types of work including new build work, refurbishment and renovation work; work in occupied buildings and projects with a significant element of mechanical and electrical work; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is for general building works with a value of £3,500,001 GBP to £10,000,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is six. All aspects of general building works (including but not limited to mechanical and electrical works) are included under the framework. The workload may include: a wide range of building work, including work relating to schools, offices, private/public buildings and housing; various types of work including new build work, refurbishment and renovation work, work in occupied buildings and projects with a significant element of mechanical and electrical work; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is not used under this framework. This lot is for repairs and maintenance for general building with a value of £1 GBP to £100,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. General building works with some incidental mechanical and electrical work may be included: work for the Authority's repairs and maintenance function and minor works; work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing and non-housing council owned buildings and any other buildings the Authority may be engaged to manage and/or carry out work; reactive maintenance at short notice in some cases one hour response and 24/7 cover; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is for repairs and maintenance for mechanical with a value of £1 GBP to £100,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Mechanical works include but are not limited to ventilation and boiler work and some incidental electrical building work: work for the Authority's repairs and maintenance function and minor works; work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing and non-housing council owned buildings and any other buildings the authority may be engaged to manage and/or carry out work; reactive maintenance at short notice in some cases one hour response and 24/7 cover; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is for repairs and maintenance electrical works with a value of £1 GBP to £100,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Electrical works may include some incidental mechanical and building work in the following areas: work for the Authority's repairs and maintenance function and minor works; work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing and non-housing council owned buildings and any other buildings the Authority may be engaged to manage and/or carry out work; reactive maintenance at short notice in some cases one hour response and 24/7 cover; contractor design in part or whole. This lot is for disabled facilities grants (DFG) / Loans, NLC Home Assistance policy, Better care Fund with a value of £1 GBP to £100,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Works include general building with some incidental mechanical and electrical work to provide: adaptations to enable disabled people to live longer in their homes and to give access to essential facilities within the home; to improve living conditions for the elderly and vulnerable. This lot is for highways civils works with a value of £1 GBP to £3,000,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Works include construction and repairs and maintenance related to bridges and structures, drainage and construction, street lighting, traffic and safety schemes, barrier repair works, highway electrical work, winter service, standby assistance and traffic signal scheme. This lot is for highways treatment works with a value of £1 GBP to £1,000,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Works include construction and repairs and maintenance related to road recycling, surface dressing, micro asphalt works, slurry sealing, traffic and safety schemes, other surface treatments and minor civils works. This lot is for highways treatment works with a value of £1 GBP to £1,000,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is three. Works include construction and repairs and maintenance related to resurfacing, plane out and put back schemes and minor civils works. This lot is for repairs and maintenance roofing with a value of £1 GBP to £25,000 GBP. The maximum number of suppliers allocated to this lot is one. Works include roofing and repair works and some incidental building work may be included; work for the Authority's repairs and maintenance function and minor works; work relating to schools, offices, private/public building and housing and non-housing council owned buildings and any other buildings the Authority may be engaged to manage and/or carry out work; reactive maintenance at short notice in some cases one hour response and 24/7 cover.
