Tender description

The West Midlands Metro fleet comprises 21 trams, numbered 17 to 37. One tram (numbered 31) has been re-liveried as a pilot and is excluded from the scope of this project. The project scope for the 20 trams includes the following main deliverables: — removal of existing adhesive film branding details and signage, — removal of external window anti-graffiti film, — preparation of tram body surface and interior surfaces to receive wrapping and/or paint, — application of PWF externally and branding details internally to 20 trams, — application of paint to visible areas that cannot be wrapped, — documented maintenance procedures, — ongoing support arrangements, and — a minimum of 5 years’ warranty following the end of a 1-year defect liability period. Contract duration is indicative and will be agreed upon award.
