Building Maintenance Works at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham Green

Harris Federation wishes to engage a contractor to undertake building maintenance works at Harris Primary Academy Beckenham Green: Description of Works:- - Provide scaffold access to roofs and all decorated external wood and metalwork etc. - Repairs to rooflights - Strip all unsound existing paint coatings from rainwater goods and external joinery (this includes all joinery at roof level which hasn't properly maintained for 30 years) - Joinery repairs to windows etc. at roof level - External redecoration - Replacement in total of a poorly designed outlet, internal rwp. and downpipe taking rainwater from the flat roof area above the lady's staff wc nearest the School Reception office - Renewal of non-compliant Fire Doors and fire-proofing to 2no glazed screens - Provision of magnetic holdback devices to 5 Fire Doors in conjunction with school Fire Alarm contractor - Alterations and installation of a new external Fire Escape door to the main school hall - Replacement of 3no classroom sinks that have asbestos pads - Replacement of 5 metres run of chain link fencing on boundary wall to St Georges Road - Installation of an ACO drain on the foot of the ramp to the left side of the School Entrance
