Tender description

Nottingham City Council has appoint contractors to a framework to carry out works and associated services in relation to programmes of highways maintenance and improvements. The framework is for a period of 4 years, and is divided into 21 lots. Contracts awarded under this framework may be to undertake projects that are financed or part-financed by external grant funding bodies; in particular the European Structural Investment Fund, including the European Regional Development Fund. Provider of skilled or non-skilled labour to complement existing workforces, sometimes at short notice for completion of projects under the supervision of the employer's workforce.
