The purpose of this market engagement event is to gather market intelligence from organisations that can deliver Leadership Development training to Network Rail employees Nationally, and to seek feedback on how best to structure the framework, tender and potential call-offs to meet both the market’s capability and Network Rail’s requirements. This is an opportunity for suppliers to feedback to Network Rail in an open forum and therefore supplier participation is key. Network Rail would encourage organisations to provide feedback on the proposed procurement by completing a survey which can be requested by emailing Faye Cator on the details below. A Supplier Industry day will follow on the 8th May at: Network Rail Westwood, 320 Westwood Heath Road, Coventry, West Midlands, CV4 8GP. Network Rail are looking to procure design and delivery of a range of leadership training interventions which aim to build the behavioural competence and capability of the leadership cadre. The scope of works includes 4 core leadership development programmes, plus bespoke culture change programmes, “off-the-shelf” short management skills courses, and interventions aimed at developing talent and potential. The 4 core programmes are: 1) Rail Industry Leaders (established senior leaders with progression potential to executive leadership positions); 2) Senior Leaders (talented middle managers with progression potential and established senior leaders needing to refresh their skills); 3) Network Rail Leaders (talented first-line managers with progression potential and established middle managers needing to refresh their skills); 4) Leadership Essentials (first-line supervisors and team leaders with limited management responsibilities).
