Tender description

The project is for the design and build contract for the construction and delivery of 60 unit residential development. The development aspirations for this proposal is to create a contemporary, high quality living complex for over 55’s featuring associated hard landscaping, parking and a SuDs detention basin. This development strives to provide high quality mixed tenure accommodation for the North East region, following Bernicia’s high standards and values. The proposal for the site is to provide the following forms of accommodation: — apartments — 48 No 2 bedroom apartments, with extensive communal accommodation, — dwellings — 8 No 2 bedroom bungalows, — 4 No 2 bedroom tyneside bungalows. Contract for the construction, by the way of a JCT Design and Build Contract, of a 60 unit elderly persons residential development, comprising: — apartments — 48 No 2 bedroom apartments, with extensive communal accommodation, — dwellings — 8 No 2 bedroom bungalows, — 4 No 2 Bedroom Tyneside Bungalows.
