Tender description

The Borough Council of Bolton ("the Authority") is prepared to receive tenders for Lostock Primary School M&E and Associated Works which will be subject to the information, specification and tender package enclosed. Tenders may not be considered which do not comply with the Authority's Terms and Conditions (JCT Intermediate Building Contract 2016) applicable to this Contract, which will be provided on award of the contract. This procurement exercise is being run as an open Invitation to Tender (ITT) and the Authority will appoint a single contractor (1) on the Contract. The Contract will commence circa 19th July 2019 and is expected to be completed by 30th August 2019. There is an additional defect liability period included of 12 months, after the completion date. Site visits for Lostock Primary School are highly recommended and must be requested via The Chest Messaging Portal. Site Visits will take place on Thursday 11 April 2019 9:30am and Tenderers can choose either of these dates. The cut-off date & time for requesting a site visit is Tuesday 9 April 4pm. Providers must not contact the school directly; all requests must be made via The Chest Messaging Portal.
