Tender description

The Isle of Wight Council (“the Authority”) invites tenders from suitably qualified suppliers (“Potential Suppliers”) for the provision of a new Combined Heat and Power (CHP) unit for Medina Leisure Centre. This procurement follows the Open Procedure under the Public Contract Regulations 2015. The contract will be for the decommissioning of the existing CHP unit, and the supply and installation of a new CHP unit including ongoing maintenance contract for a period of up to 10 years. The term of the contract shall be 1.6.2019 until 1.8.2019 for the decommissioning and supply and installation element; with a 10 year maintenance agreement up to 1.8.2029. Hence please note the type of contract is actually both Works and Services (II.1.3). The contract will be for the decommissioning of the existing CHP unit, and the supply and installation of a new CHP unit including ongoing maintenance contract for a period of up to 10 years.
