Tender description

The Authority is seeking suitable organisations to provide water hygiene services, the tender requirements are packaged under the following 2 lots: Lot 1: Legionella Monitoring and Risk assessments; Lot 2: Legionella Remedial Works. Further information and associated documents are available on our electronic tendering system at www.nepoportal.org. To provide, a full and comprehensive water hygiene service to include water risk assessments, monitoring, clean and disinfections to British Standards BS EN806 and BS8558:2011. Water risk assessments to British Standard BS8580:2010 code of practice. Monitoring services including monthly temperatures, 1/4ly showers, annual overview, flushing and service for the following requirements: — calorifier, hot water cylinders, and MWH (gas fired water heaters and free standing electric heaters), — user adjustable wall or undersink mounted electrical heaters, — combination boilers, direct fired gas heaters, instantaneous heaters, water heater and point of use water heater, — domestic hot water outlets, — domestic cold water storage tank, cold water outlets and mains water outlets, — thermostatic mixing valve outlets, — showers, thermostatic mixer, electric. Remedial works in accordance with British Standard WRAS BS6920 and latest water regulations.
