Tender description

A supplier event will be held on 22.3.2018 as the authority begins the process of procuring the next generation Construction and Highways Framework. The framework aims to deliver efficiencies, improve value for money and provide added social value through the employment and training opportunities. It will include individual lots for general building and highways. Other key features include: — Works range in value from 1 GBP to 10 000 000 GBP, — 4-year duration (with possible two-year extension), — Potential total workload in excess of 20 000 000 GBP, — Call offs will be under the NEC ECC4 suite of contracts. The provisional award date for the framework is October 2018, followed by a mobilisation period of two months with a ‘go live’ date of January, 2019. All documentation will be issued electronically with an anticipated release date of May 2018.
