Tender description

East Renfrewshire Council has now awarded to a suitably qualified contractor to undertake construction of a 2 storey steel framed business centre building, comprising small offices, with associated access road, car parking and other external works at South Greenlaw Way, Newton Mearns. The project is to be financed through the Glasgow City Region City Deal and the release of funds is subject to acceptance of a Full Business Case (FBC), including the preferred contractor’s price, by the City Deal Cabinet. Consideration of the FBC is programmed for 12.12.2017. Assuming agreement to proceed, it is envisaged that the successful bidder will be appointed by 12.1.2018. All bidders will be advised at this time. For the avoidance of doubt, from the point of submission by 25.8.2017, all bidders must keep their tender price open and firm until 12.1.2018.
