Tender description

Manchester Central is currently looking for a Contractor to supply wine and champagnes, bottled beers and spirits for all event types, including banquets, concerts, conferences, exhibitions and drinks receptions at Manchester Central. The contract will be for a period of two (2) years with the option to extend an additional one (1) year. It is intended for the contract to commence 1.9.2018. Manchester Central as part of the evaluation period would like the opportunity to visit the sites of the top two scoring submissions to allow an opportunity for a tasting and to show case the portfolio of the specified products. Given the dynamic nature of the events industry, the supplier will be expected to respond to orders as required, potentially with a last minute or same day delivery, including Saturday and Sunday orders. The successful Contractor will further provide a sale or return service on all stock, aiding seasonality and storage requirements within the venue. The Contractor must also be able to cater to any of Manchester Central clients’ bespoke orders, including offering support services such as wine training for staff members, both in-detail training for the Catering Sales Team and Catering Event Managers, and basic training for on the floor casual hospitality team.
