Tender description

A Devon County Council framework agreement for carrying out minor construction works covering the period from 4.2018 to 3.2022. The number of schemes is not known. The schemes, each of which will have an estimated value of from GBP 10 000 up to GBP 500 000 or GBP 1 000 000 as appropriate, will be the subject of an individual Works Order issued by the Project Manager/Supervisor. The types of works include footways, cycle routes, bus priorities, pedestrian crossings, traffic calming and works to recycling centres. Structural work, such as retaining walls and bridge deck repair, may also be included. The Form of Contract will be the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (4.2013). Minor Construction Works up to GBP 500 000 for the East Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for East Devon, Mid Devon and Exeter. Minor Construction Works from GBP 500 000 up to GBP 1 000 000 for the East Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for East Devon, Mid Devon and Exeter. Minor Construction Works up to GBP 500 000 for the North Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for North Devon and Torridge, plus the northern part of West Devon. Minor Construction Works from GBP 500 000 up to GBP 1 000 000 for the North Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for North Devon and Torridge, plus the northern part of West Devon. Minor Construction Works up to GBP 500 000 for the South Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for South Hams, Teignbridge, plus the southern part of West Devon. Minor Construction Works from GBP 500 000 up to GBP 1 000 000 for the South Highway Management Area. This is approximately equivalent to the District Council areas for South Hams, Teignbridge, plus the southern part of West Devon.
