Main Contractor - Estates Office Refurbishment

Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to select a Design and Build Contractor by competitive means and to provide a basis for proceeding with the design, construction and refurbishment of the existing office and installation of a lift at the Estates West Building. The tender will be to design, build and manage the refurbishment works together with associated ancillary works. The project will be tendered to a select list of contractors on a Two Stage Design and build basis. At Tender stage 1 (One) contractors will be asked to provide a cost for preliminaries including site setup, overheads and profits and all other requested supporting information. Based on the evaluation of the information submitted at Stage 1, one contractor will be selected to continue to the second stage. At stage 2, the contractor will be asked to provide a cost for the whole scheme, and be given the opportunity to provide Value Engineering options that can be beneficial to the Employer.
