RFQ for the Provision of EPOS System

Halton Borough Council’s Select Security Stadium are seeking quotes from appropriately qualified and experienced suppliers to supply, install and support 8 x Electronic Point of Sale System (EPOS) for the Select Security Stadium, Lowerhouse Lane, Widnes, WA8 7DZ. The aim of the request for quotation is for the EPOS system to meet with the following requirements: - • Touch Screen approx. 10” Tablet size • Wristband Sensors, Fingerprint Login or Equivalent • Supports Card Payments via World Pay current in place • Produces Receipts when requested • Simple the Learn and Use • Reliable – requires little maintenance/support • Can set access levels for each member of staff • Functionality to easily rectify mistakes by supervisor level • Manages staff customer loyalty schemes • Auditable so that mistakes can be tracked back to who and why • Functionality to Manage Stock (not a current requirement but may be useful in future) • Produce Reports (what sells, what doesn’t, takings etc.) • Universal Access Anytime, from anywhere, on any internet-enabled device (to remotely check reports, activity, make menu/inventory changes and add/remove employees etc.) • Provide continuous synchronisation of administrative changes (ensure no downtime during opening hours and no loss of data in the event of a catastrophe) • Updates/new releases pushed out remotely and without charge • Notifies merchant should the device become disconnected from the web • Maintains card transactions while offline and synchronises when next online The EPOS Systems are to replace existing kit, the solution must work with the Council’s existing World pay card payment system, have the facility to print receipts when requested and be reliable so maintenance/support required is minimal – pricing should reflect this.
