Tender description
Sadlers Mead Car Park, Chippenham: - This project consists of the construction of a new multi-storey (reinforced concrete frame) car park on the site of an existing surface-level car park, including the retention of some surface-level parking plus new landscaping. This will be a single-stage tender, design-and-build project Its objectives are to increase parking capacity within the area. It is envisaged that six bidders will proceed to Tender It is important to note there will be 2 other major construction projects on immediately adjacent sites being constructed within similar timescales The procurement is for a contractor to undertake the design and build of a multi-story car park and associated external works on the current Sadler's Mead site. Works are expected to begin in November 2019. The tender will be undertaken via a Restricted OJEU process and will be run exclusively through ProContract.
