Tender description

The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) invites Tenders for the supply of and installation of two (x2) single compartment Explosives Isolation Lockers (Stores) at their Laboratory located at Harpur Hill, Buxton SK17 9JN.  Height 1500mm x Width 1500mm x Depth 1000mm; (similar alternative sixing may be considered  Single compartment;  Fabrication fully compliant with the current Explosives legislation (HSE Explosives Regulations 2014 (ER 2014) - MSER 2005);  All external surfaces to be weather-proofed/rust proofed and painted;  To have an intrinsically safe alarm system fitted which will connect to HSE's on-site alarm system;  To include a point for lightning/earthing protection;  To have an internal hinge system;  The internal store space to be completely lined with wood throughout;  All screws and internal metal components to be non-sparking and protected against rust;  To have one internal shelf (removable);  Each Locker (Store) to have a unique lock with identified/registered keys; two (x2) sets of keys to be provided for each;  To include installation and secured by bolts to appropriate on-site concrete plinths; Contacts Suppliers interested in this Tender opportunity, should submit their detailed Tender response to: Sarah Jones c/o Health & Safety Executive, ITFD, Room C.1.20, Harpur Hill, BUXTON, SK17 9JN E: Sarah.Jones2@hse.gov.uk Timing The Tender will open on Wednesday 12th December 2018 and will close at 17.00 on Wednesday 2nd January 2019.
