Tender description

NHS Supply Chain seeks to establish a non-exclusive Framework Agreement for supply to NHS Supply Chain depots via the Stock, Blue Diamond routes and to the NHS Supply Chain customer base via the E-Direct Route. The Framework Agreement is for the supply of Enteral Feeding and drainage of gastrointestinal secretions. It is anticipated that in the first 24 months of the Framework Agreement the value of purchases will be circa 30 800 000,00 GBP however this is approximate only. The figures for the total estimated value are based on that initial expenditure and include a forecast for growth. Syringe used in the process of enteral feeding to deliver nourishment and oral medication safely as well as aspiration (removal of gastric secretions). Enteral Syringe accessories, including but not limited to: — syringe caps, — adaptors, — bottle, — medical straws. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 60 % to the relevant Line of the Framework Agreement. Enteral Feeding Device used to provide a means of patient feeding when oral intake is not adequate and can be used as a long term enteral nutrition solution Gastrostomy (G) tubes either Balloon or Bumper retained, Nasogastric (NG), Transgastric, Nasojejunal, PH strips and devices used to determine the acidity in a patient’s stomach prior to enteral feeding. Enteral devices accessories, including but not limited to: — nasal bridles, — nasogastric plasters, — Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) tube repair kits. NHS Supply Chain anticipates appointing all Applicants who meet the minimum requirements which are set out in these tender documents and whose total score meets or exceeds a hurdle of at least 60 % to the relevant Line of the Framework Agreement. Provides the nutrients required for a healthy balanced diet and is intended to supplement any shortfall between what the patient consumes and their individual nutritional requirement, Sip feeds, tube feeds and Specialist feeds includes feed thickeners. Giving sets consisting of a hypodermic needle, flexible small-bore transparent tubing and a connector which attaches to another device and is used to deliver feed from a separate container or bottle to the patients’ own feeding tube and pump.
