Tender for Development Agreement at a Former Depot Site in Littlethorpe

Tender description

Blaby District Council wishes to select a developer, to undertake the comprehensive redevelopment of a former depot site at Warwick Road, Littlethorpe, Leicester LE19 2JA in accordance with the development agreement at Appendix 2. The site is 0.86 hectares (2.14 acres) in size and is surrounded on three sides by residential properties towards the edge of the village of Littlethorpe. The decommissioned depot on the site has been recently demolished to slab level and the site secured in preparation for future development. Services have already been disconnected and ground investigation and drainage survey reports will be made available. This site presents a strong opportunity to develop for housing and the Council has approved to enter into a Development Agreement with a procured partner to work jointly to realise both the desired quality standards for the site and maximise on the returns from land values and shared profit arrangement from the sales.
