Tender description

The BBC is requesting information for scenic works and associated services for the EastEnders New Front Lot and is defined by the following Work Streams: — work-stream 1: scenic contractor, — work-stream 2: props and dressing installation contractor, — work-stream 3: warehouse/storage and workshop, — work-stream 4: specialist contractors, covering a range of services, — work-stream 5: set design inventory. The BBC would welcome responses to this RFI in order to inform our thinking prior to any procurement exercise. Responding to this RFI will allow the BBC to: — build an understanding of current solutions available in the marketplace, — gain feedback on: —— the procurement approach, —— Work Streaming strategy, —— the expected delivery timescales for each work stream. Should you choose to respond to this RFI the BBC will take on board all responses when shaping any future procurement activity. Through this RFI, it is our intention to raise awareness of the BBC’s future requirements, and to raise our understanding of: — your interest and experience to date in the proposed work stream(s), — your likelihood of tendering, — the attractiveness of the contract(s), — the barriers to your bidding for these service(s). For the avoidance of doubt, any information provided to the BBC in response to this RFI will be treated as confidential and non-binding. No contract will be awarded as a consequence of this RFI process.
