Birmingham Life Sciences Park (BLSP) — a 4-hectare development set at the heart of our vibrant Birmingham Health Partners campus — will deliver bespoke state-of-the-art facilities, technology innovation platforms and high-quality commercial accommodation to allow businesses to access and harness the power of Birmingham’s unrivalled healthcare infrastructure. The University of Birmingham is the freehold owner of a site situated close to the University, the University Hospitals Birmingham QEH Campus, and other medical and research assets. The site has outline planning consent for development of a Life Sciences Park and the University has evolved its strategy for the development of the Park and interaction between the Park’s development and a number of medical and science related stakeholders in the vicinity. The University is now beginning the process of bringing on board a development partner in order to enter into a joint venture arrangement with the University to deliver the vision which the University has for the site. Enclosed within this pack is a copy of the BLSP Investment Brochure which sets out both the vision and the fundamentals which underpin the attractiveness of the site for the style of development anticipated.
