Tender description

This scheme involves the refurbishment of 10 National Road Bridges, located on the N02, N12 and N54 in County Monaghan. The bridge structures are as follows: • MN-N02-001, Moy Bridge • MN-N02-002, Lisrooskey Bridge • MN-N02-003, Killydonagh Bridge • MN-N02-005, Lenagh Bridge • MN-N02-007, Emyvale Bridge • MN-N02-010, Blackwater Bridge • MN-N02-015, Lismenan Bridge • MN-N02-035, Drumillard Bridge • MN-N12-002, Ulster Canal Bridge • MN-N54-004, Skeagh Bridge The Bridge Rehabilitation Scheme is to involve the undertaking of the following works: • Bridge deck slab strengthening/rehabilitation/replacement; • Concrete abutment construction; • Scour Protection; • Upgrading masonry bridge parapets; • Masonry clad concrete parapets; • Metal parapet installation; • Installation of safety barriers; • Masonry repointing and repairs; • Bridge deck waterproofing; • Masonry arch waterproofing; • Concrete rubbing strips and footpaths - hardstandings; • Reinstatement of excavated bituminous surfaces, including kerbing • works; • Diversion of services adjacent to the bridges; and • Temporary Traffic Management
