Tender description

Demolition of existing car park and build of a new multi-storey 4,5 levels car park. Southend-on-Sea Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified contractors to carry out the demolition of an existing car park in Victoria Avenue, Southend and to design and build a replacement multi-storey car park. In order to access the documents for the 2-stage (restricted) tender, suppliers must log into the Council's e-tendering system: https://procurement.southend.gov.uk/ The e-Tender reference is DN229068. Following the Selection Questionnaire (SQ) or shortlisting stage, a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 6 suppliers will be invited to submit full tenders for the contract. You can register your company on the system, express and interest in the tender and download the tender documents. Once you have expressed an interest, please view 'my opportunities' where the SQ and tender documents will be available. The Council require the contractor to both demolish the existing car park and build the new one under a single JCT Design and Build Contract 2016. The Contractor must either have an in-house design team with architect or employ a suitable design team including architect in order to complete all design aspects of the contract.
