Road construction works

Tender description

The N60 Oran Road Project comprises, but is not limited to, the construction of approx. 3,4 km of national secondary road to type 1 single carriageway in the: — Townlands of Rathmew, — Fearaghafin, — Carrowgarve, — Oran, — Carroweighter, — Ballydooley, — Runnabackan and Cloonebaun in County Roscommon. The N60 Oran Road Project comprises, but is not limited to, the construction of approx. 3,4 km of national secondary road in the townlands of: — Rathmew, — Fearaghafin, — Carrowgarve, — Oran, — Carroweighter, — Runnabackan, — Ballydooley and Clooneenbaun, Co. Roscommon. The following is a non-exhaustive list of works included in the works requirements: (i) construction of approximately 3,4 km of national secondary road with Type 1 single carriageway cross-section; (ii) construction of 2 no. at grade ghost Island junctions and 2 no. at grade simple junctions; (iii) construction of various side roads, domestic and agricultural accesses; (iv) construction of mainline, side roads and other pavements; (v) construction of culverts and associated headwalls and provision of drainage outfalls; (vi) site clearance works; (vii) earthworks works; (viii) construction of drainage works and attenuation measures; (ix) construction of ducting works and authority and utility works including but not limited to authority and utility apparatus diversions and protection of authority and utility apparatus; (x) construction of Kerb and Channelising island works; (xi) construction of boundary treatment works; (xii) construction of accommodation works; (xiii) construction of landscape and environmental mitigation works; (xiv) installation of road marking and road studs; (xv) supply and installation of regulatory, warning and directional road signage; (xvi) design, implementation and removal of temporary traffic management systems; (xvii) various ancillary works.
