This procurement is an Open (one stage process). Suppliers wishing to take part in this project are invited to “express interest” which will give access to the full procurement documents in the e-Tendering system. To be considered as a Bidder you must complete and submit a Bid by the deadline of 12:00 noon on 9.11.2018. Any questions relating to this procurement must be made via correspondence on the website, in accordance with the procurement documents and can be addressed to the main contact as shown in the details above. Please allow sufficient time to make your return as late returns will not be permitted by the system. The Council is out to procurement for a Core Sampling and testing Service. The purpose of this undertaking is to ensure that street works within the area of influence of the Council will be completed to minimum specified requirements of relevant specification and legislation. This will assist in ensuring stakeholders are less likely to bear cost of remedial actions as a result of poor or sub-standard reinstatement efforts, some of which may only present themselves long after works have been completed. At its discretion, the Council may call upon this contract to undertake minor core sampling and testing on it’s highway network.
