Tender description

Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals currently issues up to 547 staff with permits to park on the Main Hospital Sites at Royal Sussex County Hospital (RSCH) Brighton and Princess Royal Hospital (PRH) Haywards Heath. Owing to pressure on available car parking space at RSCH the Trust has provided, via a third party, a satellite parking service for up to 170 staff between 0500 and 2359, Monday to Friday. The current arrangement is coming to an end in March 2018 and the Trust is seeking bids from interested parties in providing a continued satellite parking service for staff at the RSCH. Scope. Satellite parking and bus transfer service between RSCH and satellite site. Satellite parking for 170 staff permit holders vehicles within 5 mile radius of BN25BE. The Parking location to consist of Hard standing, secure perimeter with appropriate fencing/lighting and staffing whilst site is in operation. A CCTV, coverage of site with site having enclosed heated waiting area at parking location, Toilets for staff awaiting transport. Transport service to and from parking location to RSCH site to agreed schedule: Scope. Satellite parking and bus transfer service between RSCH and satellite site. Transport service to and from parking location to RSCH site to agreed schedule. The Transport service to be able to accommodate staff with mobility issues. Arrangements must be in place to enable staff unavoidably detained after 2359 to gain access to their vehicle. Detailed communication plan must be set up by the Contractor / Service Provider.
