Tender description

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (an office within BEIS) are holding a Supplier Engagement event on Thursday 27 September 2018 to discuss the Strategic Research Programme and some of the immediate opportunities for involvement. The following projects will be discussed: 1.) Strategic Roadmap for Consumer Product Safety 2.) Characteristics of modern domestic fires 3.) Advanced condition monitoring for detection of consumer appliance failure 4.) Legal issues concerning the 3D printing of spare parts for consumer appliances 5.) Safety of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality in consumer products Further detail on these projects is provided in the attachment.
