Tender description

CPI has secured in-principle funding, subject to full business case approval,to establish a Healthcare Futures Centre (HFC) incorporating laboratories providing space for both SME incubation and CPI’s process development activities. It is anticipated that the funding for the project will be confirmed in late November and sign-off of the Design and Build contract and commencement of the project must immediately follow the sign-off of the grant funding agreement (GFA) as indicated in the procurement timetable set out below. The Centre will be a new build facility adjacent to CPI’s National Biologics Manufacturing Centre at Darlington, DL1 1GL. The HFC will provide highly serviced, flexible laboratory areas for process, analytical and technology development and process demonstration.
