Ardmore Pier Repair Works

Tender description

Waterford City and County Council is proposing to carry out repair works to the old pier in Ardmore. The existing pier constructed circa 1911, is of mass concrete construction and is in a state of disrepair with crumbling and loose concrete on its facade. The works shall consist of the scope of works shown on the drawings and specifications including as a summary:  Provide, maintain and dismantle safe access to the works;  Provide, maintain and dismantle traffic management for the duration of the works;  Disposal offsite of waste materials generated on site;  Set-up of suitable works plant and equipment;  Stockpiling of material;  Protection of existing services;  Cleaning of the pier faces;  Breaking out loose concrete;  Sprayed concrete repairs;  New ladder;  New hand/guardrails;  New ground markings;  PSCS role for the duration of the works.
