Contractor to undertake planned and preventative maintenance for the Merseytravel estate

Merseytravel is seeking expressions of interest from suitable contractors to enter into a Measured Term Contract for Planned and Reactive Facilities and Building Maintenance. Contract Duration 01 Dec 2018 to 01 Dec 2021 3 years, Potential 3 year extension to 01 Dec 2024 The contract covers a broad array of Merseytravel's sites across the County of Merseyside. The greater part of the works will be based in Merseytravel's Bus stations and Travel Centres. However, the successful contractor will also be expected to carry out maintenance works at other building types which will include offices, workshops, control rooms, storage areas as well as buildings within the Mersey Tunnels and Mersey Ferries sections of the estate. The 'Planned Maintenance' works element of the contract will include, but will not be limited to, PAT testing, legionella, emergency lighting, electrical testing and inspection, LOLER testing (High mast lighting, Lifting equipment etc.), automatic doors and manual gates inspections, interceptor inspections, guttering, pumps and drainage, inspections. The 'Reactive Maintenance' works element of the contract will include, but will not be limited to, reactive maintenance of windows, doors, stairs, surface finishes (e.g. Graffiti removal), rainwater systems, drainage, masonry, hard standings, roofing, plumbing, electrical faults, access control, street furniture and vandalism.
