Nottingham City Council has awarded a contract for the execution of the construction phase of the redevelopment of Nottingham Castle. The requirement was for a traditional build contract with elements of CDP. The procurement is related to a project and programme financed by Heritage Lottery Fund, Nottingham Castle Trust, Trust and Foundations and a number of local businesses. The contract is subject to the conditions of the funding body, and contractors will be expected to comply with the relevant requirements and any associated regulation's such as procurement, publicity and eligibility criteria.
