TENDER FOR WORKS AT 3, 4, 5 AND 6 HIGH STREET, WELLINGBOROUGH

Tender description

The Borough Council of Wellingborough is seeking a suitably skilled, experienced and reliable contractor to undertake restoration works to a parade of four historic shop fronts in Wellingborough town centre. These works form part of the Council's Townscape Heritage Initiative. Ideally, the works will be carried at some point between September and next February, 2019, during a period of time agreed with each shop-keeper. The shops must remain open while the works are carried out. Bidders must complete and submit the Schedule of Works (doc 2) and the Response document (doc 4) - and 'accept' the Conditions of Contract (doc 3) via this tender portal. (The Conditions document is a summary of the key options selected by the Council from the template JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016 edition.) Bidders will be able to access the tender documents once they register their interest via this portal. The deadline for bids is NOON FRIDAY 24th AUGUST. Questions from bidders' about the tender will be accepted up to a week before this deadline.
