Contract Awarded - Envirico - Works Contractor including PSCS role to carry out the identified contract works. To facilitate the construction of 7 No. houses being developed by Kerry County Council, there is a requirement to complete a pre-main contract enabling works contract to eradicate the growth of Japanese Knotweed located on site. The works shall comprise of the execution and completion of this pre-main contract works enabling works contract to the full intent as set out in the works requirements of the tender documents. The works to be carried out as part of this enabling works contract includes treatment of Japanese knotweed (spraying), cutting and bagging plants and excavation of Japanese Knotweed contaminated soil from the infested areas and disposal to an approved waste disposal facility. The works shall also comprise the installation of a root barrier membrane, demolitions of existing shed buildings and boundary walls, all required stone fill material, temporary fencing including all other requirements. The Japanese Knotweed and contaminated soil evident on site must be physically removed from the site and must be disposed of under licence to an approved waste disposal facility.
