Refurbishment of Newbridge Town Hall - Establishment of Panel of Metal Lattice Window Specialist

Newbridge Town Council, the Contracting Authority, proposes to carry out refurbishment works to Newbridge Town Hall, a Protected Structure. The proposed works will generally consist of replacement of existing slate roof, lead work; repairs to existing cast iron lattice windows, cleaning and repairing existing stonework, demolitions and alterations internally and externally, mechanical and electrical services, new high quality paving to front and side of existing building and connection to existing services Newbridge Town Council are conducting a Restricted (2 stage) tender procedure for the main contract. Stage 1 of that process is under way. In tandem with that process Newbridge Town Council are also forming a panel of specialist metal window subcontractors. At tender stage (Stage 2) suitable main contractors will be requested to select from this panel of suitable specialist metal window sub-contractors or to propose an alternative suitable specialist subcontractor. The panel of specialist metal window subcontractors to be drawn up by Newbridge Town Council as a result of this process will be limited to a maximum of five (5).
