Awarded via mini competition through Capital Schemes Framework for works where a section of the A686 carriageway at Witch Wood approximately 1 mile north of Melmerby in Cumbria is showing signs of distress and is to be remediated. The works involve the importing and placing of granular fill to regrade the earthworks slopes supporting the carriageway. The works will also include the reconstruction of a short section of carriageway. Works include site clearance, fencing/walling, earthworks, drainage, landscaping and minor carriageway reconstruction
