Tender description

Iarnród Éireann (IÉ) are seeking expressions of interest from companies with a proven track record in delivering on-site vehicle painting services to participate in a tender process for the provision of painting services to IÉ for a period of 4 years. The required services will cover the supply, installation and commissioning of either an internal or external temporary painting facility which will operate in tandem with the existing fixed installation in Inchicore Railway Works. The services will also cover the provision of the specialist labour required to paint the vehicles over the 4 year term of the agreement. It is intended that IÉ will supply the required paint to the successful service provider. It is intended that the successful service provider will be required to paint in the region of 18 x 4 car 29000 DMU Sets and in the region of 12 x 2 car 2600/2800 DMU Sets however the final quantity of vehicles may be higher or lower.
