Water-treatment plant construction work

Tender description

Northumbrian Water Limited intend to appoint a contractor to carry out the construction of 2 nº wash water tank and pumping station. It should be noted that while detailed design is not part of the scope of this appointment there may be a residual amount of design work to do under the main construction works contract. The project objective is to build 2 nº new wash water tanks and a pumping station alongside the existing wash water tanks and pumping station. Construction is scheduled to start in 7.2018, Asset/Works in use shall be before 1.2020 as this is a date agreed with the Environment Agency. NWL expects a partner contractor to work collaboratively to deliver a solution meeting our business outcomes aligned to our vision, values and behaviours. The existing tanks will remain in service and be incorporated in to the new works, the existing pumping station and tanks will be refurbished only once the new works is fully commissioned and in service.
