Tender description

The N61 Coolteige (Phase 1) Road Project comprises, but is not limited to, the construction of approx. 2.5km of national secondary road in the townlands of Cloonbrackna, Gallowstown or Lisnacroghy, Ranelagh, Barnhill and Mullymucks in County Roscommon. The following is a non-exhaustive list of works included in the Works Requirements:- (1) Construction of approximately 2.3km of national secondary road with Type 1 single carriageway cross-section outside the Roscommon town boundary; (2) Construction of approximately 0.2km of national secondary road with single carriageway cross-section within the Roscommon town boundary; (3) Construction of an at-grade roundabout junction linking the proposed N61 with the existing N61; (4) Construction of 2 no. at grade ghost island junctions and 2 no. at grade simple junctions; (5) Construction of various side roads, domestic and agriculural accesses (6) Construction of mainline, side roads and other pavements; (7) Construction of culverts and associated headwalls including river diversion and provision of drainage outfalls; (8) Site Clearance works; (9) Earthworks works; (10) Soil nailing works; (11) Construction of drainage works; (12) Construction of ducting works and Utilities works including but not limited to utility apparatus diversions and protection of utility apparatus; (13) Construction of kerb and footway works; (14) Construction of boundary treatment works; (15) Construction of safety fencing works; (16) Construction of public lighting works; (17) Construction of accommodation works; (18) Construction of landscape and environmental mitigation works. (19) Installation of road marking and road studs; (20) Supply and installation of regulatory, warning and directional road signage; (21) Design, implementation and removal of temporary traffic management systems; and (22) All other associated ancillary works.
