The Council is seeking to engage suitably experienced and qualified Suppliers to enter into a contract for the provision of consultancy services for the revaluation of land and property assets for financial reporting purposes (Asset Valuations) within the County of Powys. The Council is seeking to engage suitably experienced and qualified Suppliers to enter into a Contract for the provision of consultancy services for the revaluation of land and property assets for financial reporting purposes (Asset Valuations) within the County of Powys. The provision of statutory asset valuation will include the following: — annual revaluation of the Council’s rolling programme property portfolio, spread over 5 financial years to include general fund (operational assets) assets held for sale, surplus and investment assets, — the revaluation of assets, which have been enhanced in value during a particular financial year as a result of capital works being undertaken to the property, — the revaluation of Council County Farms assets, — the revaluation of the Council Housing assets, — a valuation of any property, which has been subject to impairment, — the provision of other asset valuations required due to category change. Bidders must meet the following requirements which represent the minimum requirements of the Council: — professional membership of RICS and registered valuer with RICS, — insurances are required as follows: Public Liability GBP 5 000 000, Employers Liability GBP 5 000 000, Professional Indemnity GBP 5 000 000, — evidence of 3 contracts of a similar nature within the last 3 years, — ability to provide adequate guarantee of financial strength.
